Energy Depot for Homes Energy Depot for Homes is a set of interactive marketing and customer service applications designed to be integrated, or linked, with your company's Internet site. It is available in both English and Spanish language versions. Think of it as your residential customers' online gateway to a wealth of information and resources. Energy Depot can be customized to incorporate all, or some, of Enercom's Internet applications as well as the graphic design of your website. Use Energy Depot as the means to provide value-added services, collect customer data and as a sales delivery channel for new products and services. Energy Depot applications include the following:
Personal Energy Profile An online, do-it-yourself home energy audit that addresses the full range of home energy systems and appliances, as well as home safety and security. Once customers are authenticated, their billing data is securely imported or manually entered and presented for their review. This data is also used in the energy analysis. Customers can choose between the standard and EZ audit. The new EZ audit questionnaire takes only about 5 - 7 minutes to complete. Both audits incorporate drop-down menus, default settings and help screens. Once the questionnaire is completed, customers receive a highly graphic Personal Energy Profile report that includes a cover letter from their utility, energy usage and cost graphs, annual energy cost by energy system/appliance and specific recommendations with cost savings estimates. Recommendations can be hyperlinked to your relevant program, product or service offers and to articles in the Energy Library (see below) so customers can learn even more about home energy use. All energy audit data is retained in the Energy Depot databases and is available for your marketing or marketing research purposes.
Energy Calculator This application allows customers to quickly calculate the electric and/or natural gas energy use and costs for the full range of home energy systems and appliances by simply answering a few questions. The Calculator’s “Totals” feature summarizes results for all the items they check.
Energy Library The comprehensive Energy Library offers your customers a wide selection of Fact Sheets that address home energy systems, appliances and products. Many tie to specific recommendations from the Personal Energy Profile report and are hyperlinked to the recommendation text. Fact Sheets are arranged by topic for ease of location.
Frequently Asked Questions Energy Depot also includes a FAQ tool that incorporates answers to the top 100 most frequently asked questions regarding home energy use.
Energy Advisor The Energy Advisor is an email inquiry tool that offers residential customers direct access to a person within your company or at Enercom. Customers email questions specific to their energy situation. The Advisor system directs questions to the energy expert of your choice. This can be a person within your company, or one at Enercom.
