ENERCOM LAUNCHES NEW ONLINE SERVICES FOR
TVA
Atlanta, GA – Enercom®, Inc. has launched its Energy
Depot®
online software suite for Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), the nation’s
largest public power provider. TVA selected Enercom, an
Atlanta-based developer of customer-facing energy information applications
to develop its energy right® Energy Depot site which is
available to residential customers throughout its service
area.
“Enercom has tailored Energy Depot to meet the specific
requirements of TVA’s energy right program and the 158 power
distributors TVA serves,” said Paul Conlan, Enercom’s president and CEO.
“TVA’s Energy Depot site automatically recognizes each customer’s power
distributor and uses the appropriate local energy costs, weather
information and more.”
Energy Depot includes an integrated suite of online energy tools
and resources for residential customers. They can elect to do a
full-length home energy audit or they can choose the EZ Audit, a shorter,
yet accurate audit. The
Energy Calculator quickly determines the approximate annual energy
consumption and cost for most home appliances, and the Energy Library
application is a virtual library of articles and FAQs that
encompass a full range of
residential energy topics.
The Energy Advisor service provides customers with email Q&A
access to an energy expert.
Residential customers can access the TVA Energy Depot site via
links provided by their local power distributor on their website or from
the energy right site itself.
Energy Depot promotes energy efficiency, helps customers understand
and manage their energy costs, and reduces bill inquiry and complaint
calls to utilities.
