ENERCOM LAUNCHES SPANISH LANGUAGE VERSION OF ITS INDUSTRY-LEADING ONLINE RESIDENTIAL SOFTWARE

Atlanta, Georgia - Enercom, an Atlanta-based developer of customer-facing online energy applications, announces the release of a Spanish language version of its Energy Depot^® for Homes software application suite.

The Hispanic population of the United States now exceeds 37 million and in certain major geographic regions represents more than 44 percent of the total population . “Several clients have requested that we provide our energy efficiency software tools in Spanish, as well as English,” said Enercom CEO Paul Conlan. "We initially implemented this product for two major investor-owned utilities serving 21 million customers to bring the benefits of our energy applications to their Spanish speaking customers."

Conlan added that offering non-English versions of information to customers helps utilities expand their customer outreach. “Utilities are always looking for opportunities to improve their customer service,” said Conlan. “We believe a Spanish language version of Enercom’s Energy Depot for Homes is one of the ways we can help our clients keep raising the bar on customer service.
